Back up and in Business

Lily G Homes is back.

We have been undergoing some small changes and are looking forward to 2012.

It is going to be a brilliant year with many renovation jobs and refurbs to blog about.

I am feeling so recharged and happy with the way my business is going and will continue to grow and add to my fabulous team of designers that work for me at Lily G.

I am loving black and white at the moment with pops of colour it is very dramatic and edgy.

Getting soooo excited about this amazing job coming to completion!!!! Every detail is coming together and looking fabulous!!! We Glossed this door and added fabulous hardware.... custom door mat with the owners initial ....G !!!!! conifers in beautiful boxes what a welcoming home .
Custom Kitchen done buy our fantastic joiners we needed a crane to lift this 2.5 x 2.5 Carrara marble piece into this kitchen .
Black Gloss stairs with core matting we are just waiting on some silver bars to go across.
Divine Moroccan light !!!!!!
Work in progress !!!! Timber flooring was placed over the tiles to bring the look together.
Loving this looks very bespoke very glam and gorgeous !!!!!!

So keep posted all the furniture is in storage ready to be placed, styled up cant wait !!!!!!

This is just another job in progress for another fabulous couple in indoorpilly. The client spent a long time searching and finding just the right house to renovate to make her own.

It is a fabulous service for clients in this position to have us come out and help them see what can achieved before they buy. It is sometimes difficult to see beyond coloured walls and walls for that matter !!!!!! we can help in the decision making process from the very beginning throughout to the entire reno and styling of your dream home .

It didn't take weeks it took months to find and the result will be worth the wait..... again so sorry for the unrotated pics still an amateur to this mac ....

it will be an incredible transformation. the external walls has gone from bright mustard yellow (yuk ) to an inviting grey. A new kitchen and bathroom with beautiful marble, an extension to the main bedroom with an incredible walk in robe ...of course !!! we have already chosen and purchased all the furniture of course with a fabulous vision.... love a client with amazing taste !!!!!!

just thought i would show a snippet the progress ...... this will all come together now with in a few weeks, cant wait to post the end result !!!!!!!!!!

New photo shoot !!

Well I was raving a little about our job below and admittedly we are only really 3/4 of the way finished however we couldn't wait !!! so we have had it shot professionally and is going into the june addition of the Queensland homes. This is such a gorgeous client, and her family are amazing !!! I want to thank her so much for letting us take over her house for the shoot even though I made her burn her cheese sauce..... Sorry !!!!!!! We will be sure to show you all when it comes out x

We Made it !!!!!!!

Think it and it shall happen !!!!!!! When we set out on this amazing journey we believed our beautiful work would get a front cover of a magazine ..... When Simon our wonderful photographer was on this shoot he was gushing that this house was made for a cover shot !!!!! Always humble bunnies we really wanted it and now it has happened !!!! soooo excited it will be out any day now and I am sure we will try to buy them all up so be quick and get yours and you to can have your 5 mins of fame cause you know us !!!!!!!!

This study is so inviting it could even have me sit in there all day !! I just love the height of the library.


This gorgeous client moved to this amazing location in wellington point and didn't want to keep a thing from there last home. They asked for our help to create a warm relaxed home, somewhere for everyone to retreat to. They have 2 fabulous children so we needed this to be kid proof. We used soft colours in lime, taupe and cream and as you will see we then carried this through into pale blue taupe and cream. The kids read and relax in these areas as the feel is so tranquil.

They did however as you see below a fabulous dinning suite that we reupholstered in a beautiful linen to flow through the use of the linen in the louie chairs. We added in some great prints and voila !!!!! divine formal rooms.....

The next stage was the family areas of kitchen and dinning. This is still a work in progress and have some amazing love chairs coming in the blue and white stripe.I cant wait to see them in here, I was a bit excited and needed to show you this first...... also a few more pieces of furniture to be added. Loving the little lions next to the tv !!!!!
Our next stage is outside where the views are incredible on the bay !!!!!! then upstairs to do bedrooms.....

Blue Lagoon.

This is one of our lovely clients pools before we got our hands on it ! it was very run down and extremely uninviting!! We gave it a little face lift .......

We emptied, scrubbed , re sealed , re painted and popped a great deck around it so entice people to come and play !!!

unfortunately this lovely client is on the brisbane corso Yeronga and we had only just with in weeks finished this job . It was completely wiped out so it is now our job to re do the pool and will also re do her bedroom , make her an amazing walk in wardrobe and parent retreat.It will all be worth it cant wait to show you the new results.
